Volunteer Experience

Girls Who Code!

In 2017 I taught a group of 20 inquisitive and eager to learn young girls between the ages of 10 - 15. Every Saturday, we got together at Holy Trinity High School and spent 3 hours learning how to code in python and javascript. My undergraduate degree was in Education so there is always a small part of me that wants to utilize these skills I have picked up with anyone who wants to learn them. This was an amazing opportunity and a rewarding experience watching these girls.
